The clerks are rude and don’t want to help when you ask questions. They treat ppl looking for child support like we’re looking for welfare and they say the state is in favor of this children but it doesn’t matter if the bare minimum workers won’t do not a thing but make you run around in circles. They never have their case notes right and often provide misinformation just to refer you to customer service.

So I’ve been calling the district clerk many times to reassure our hearing has been rescheduled because it was cancelled on the actual date when I showed up, and they all tell me nothing has been scheduled and come to find out from my caseworker that I missed the rescheduled date, why wasn’t I informed?! Now I lost my side of the story for our jury trial for our kids for not showing up!! Oh this is not over yet!! My kids are in the hands of a narcissistic father!! I want justice!

Before I even walked through the doors of the court room they had judged me stating they were opposed to letting me off of child support. Before they heard me speak or even allowed me to tell my side they had made a decision. Both me and my child's mother had made the decision to terminate child support and to co-parent. We went into the court room to speak about it but I could already tell that this was not going to go the way we expected it to. The judge was putting words in our mouths telling us to answer either yes or no and telling us "You just don't want the state in your business", "You just want to decide when you would pay more or when you would pay less but less but let's get real you want to pay less" he was aggressive and cruel. I am a good father, I have done everything right, and I still am, but let them tell you that it is not in the child's best interest to terminate child support. Why is it they get the final say when they do not even know our stories? Let me speak.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. They sent garnishment orders to MY employer and I am the custodial parent. They haven’t collected a penny in child support from the non-custodial parent. What a horrible error on their part!!!

They do not reply to emails. They do not reply to certified mails with signature. It is very difficult to get in contact with them. All the 1-star reviews are accurate about Tarrant County Child Support. They do not care about you. They only care about $$$. It's unfortunate and broken system here.

They are the worst. Lazy, rude clerks. Said I need to call different department, gave the number super fast, and then CLICK! Terrible.

I was there with friends for an adoption hearing. The building is beautiful and super clean but the officers at the entrance that screen people are pretty rude and unfriendly. Could NOT crack a smile. If you're going... Single file people! Pay attention and DON'T even talk to them, they are very serious.
