Rich answered promptly and warmly, graciously made time within a couple of hours to take a look at my guitar, and masterfully diagnosed the problem. He could have taken my money and done a setup where not needed, but he was terrifically honest about that as well! He even made some suggestions on technique or guitar style I should look into if I continue to have issues. All in all an upstanding luthier and member of the community, and definitely the one I'll be trusting from now on with all my work!

Very new amateur trying to get into guitar here! I had an issue with my guitar while trying to tune it (Snapped one of the tuning knobs.) and ended up calling Rich. By far one of the most knowledgeable and solid personalities I’ve meet up in Buffalo so far. Treated me just like anyone else and didn’t look down on me for having no experience or knowledge with music. Would definitely recommend his services over any local competition, Rich will provide quality service guaranteed.

Rich is amazing! I had my Taylor worked on and was very pleased. Got a friend’s Gibson set-up so nice it sings when you play it.
Rich is an expert in repair, assessment, technical work and so much more.

This was my first experience with a luthier of any sort, so this won’t be a comparative review. But Rich recently set up two of my custom built bass guitars, and did a wonderful job! They both needed action adjustments and some pickup adjustments as well. His work was done in a few days, and for a very reasonable price. He’s friendly and knowledgeable, and easy to contact on his phone.
I can certainly recommend R&B for these types of adjustments!

Rich is amazing. I took my 2 year old Taylor to him to have it set up. He did an awesome job. He was able to get the action much lower. He polished and waxed it, put new strings on it and made it beautiful. I am so impressed with Rich. His work is unbelievable. He is very friendly and professional. He had my guitar done in only a couple days and his prices are unbelievable. He does fantastic work for dirt cheap.
I took him another project guitar when I picked up my Taylor. It is a 1980 Alvarez that has been through the war. He worked his magic on it and in a couple days it is like a brand new guitar. It is awesome and unbelievable the amazing job he did on both my guitars.
I have found my "guitar guy". I will definitely take my guitars to Rich when they need any attention. You should too. If you are reading this you are looking for someone to fix or restore your guitar. You just found your guy. You won't be sorry. Believe me. Rich is AMAZING !!

Rich did an excellent job on my Epiphone 335 Pro fixing the input jack on it,even took a picture and texted it to me of it inside the guitar ,to show me the problem.Plus going above and beyond looking the guitar over at no extra charge.Super nice guy and I Highly recommend!

Rich was fabulous! We will certainly be back. my daughter's Taylor needed to be fixed. She was only home from college for 24 hours, Rich was able to fix it right away (we were so fortunate) and he gave us many tips on care and humidifying it that the Center we purchased at never mentioned. We are so fortunate we found Rich we will back for certain. I would recommend him to my friends and family. He loves what he does and shares his knowledge with others!

I took my Gibson Hummingbird to Rich and am so glad that I did! My guitar was at the point that it sounded awful and the action was impossible. Rich did a setup and it’s right back where it was when I bought it-great action and sounds amazing! This was no easy job because there was a pre-existing issue with the truss rod where if it was tightened too much it could have broken.

Rich is intelligent, knowledgeable and totally honest! He not only documents all his work but also explains all work he has performed step by step.

I am one very satisfied customer!!
