The workshop with Jason Weingart was beyond my expectations ! Jason made sure all the group got pictures and had a great time. We were never rushed and his knowledge and network of friends and his experience to know where to go to get the best shots was totally awesome. The night shots and the next day with Light Room and Photo Shop editing was off the charts great ! I've got some pictures I can't wait to get printed to hand on the wall ! I'm saving so I can attend his other workshops and go storm chasing!
I give Jason 5 stars across the board! I highly recommend Jason Weingart !! It was a great weekend !!

Incredible tour guide. The guy’s a storm whisperer. His forecasts were accurate, and when we were chasing we were always in the right spot, often ahead of the other guys. On top of that, Jason found great restaurants for us on the road (when available… fine dining is never an expectation when storm chasing in the rural plains), booked clean, comfortable hotels, and really took the time to make sure we were getting the best out of our tour. Would definitely book again!

I have just returned from an amazing workshop with Jason Weingart. Jason and his 2 assistants taught me more in this Milky Way focused --workshop than I have learnt in at least 100 hours viewing. You Tube videos. The course followed a very logical order with an introduction to our cameras, how to focus and take pictures in the dark and then actual experience at the most remarkable dark sites. The instructions were always clear. If one of us needed a more detailed explanation, it was given without hesitation. After the sessions there was a very impressive and extremely practical talk and how to process our images. Jason is a master teacher with a great personality and an obvious love for photography. I will attend his other courses to broaden my knowledge. Thank you Jason for such an excellent learning experience. Paul Hart

Jason's photo workshop is worth your time and money. He does a lot of homework to find you good locations to shoot. Locations constantly change depending on conditions and weather, so you will be less likely to be disappointed. He always has a Plan B and C.

Just spent the better part of a week with Jason and his merry band of high-energy weather fiends (driver/meteorologists Stacy and Matt). It was time and money well spent: I got a ton of spectacular storm photos and learned a tremendous amount in the bargain. Jason is vastly knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and dedicated. He is focused on safety, fun, and photography. If the concept of storm chasing excites you and you have a photographic bent, Tornado Adventures is without question your best possible choice.

Doing a storm chasing tour had been on my bucket list for a while. I did quite a bit of research and while there are many offerings, few catered to people who wanted to focus on the photography aspect. I decided to do one of Jason’s Tornado Adventures and I’m extremely happy I did. Jason and his crew, Matt and Stacy were outstanding. While Mother Nature is going to do whatever she pleases, they did everything possible to put us in position for the photos we were hoping to get.

What stood out to me even more was the amount of return guests, including some who have been chasing with Jason for multiple years or have attended some of his other workshops. There’s a reason why people keep coming back year after year. I’m now planning on being one of those return guests and look forward to another Tornado adventure along with attending some of his other photography workshops.

I've gone storm chasing with Jason 2 years running. Just finished my second trip. It was fantastic. It's less like going on a tour and more like hanging out with a friend and looking for storms. He gets us to the best forecasted location, and I got the best pictures.

He even helped with my processing to bring my images to the best they could be. If you're clever enough to understand he can't control nature, you'll have a great time. I absolutely recommend Jason for any of his workshops.

I'll be going again next year.

Just returned from 2 back to back workshops with Jason Weingart. He is one of the most humble and talented photographers I have ever met. His beautiful wife Savannah Skye is amazingly talented as well. He is not threatened by sharing his knowledge and skills with others. So incredibly patient with his students. Every single student of his walks away with a ton of new knowledge and ideas and some stunning images. He works hard at setting up learning experiences where everyone can be successful. If you ever want to learn more about the essence of photography and you want a little adventure and a very unique experience, this is it! I saw him work with a wide variety of learner from novice to advanced with all sorts of brands of cameras. I'm amazed that he can figure out how to work with just any kind of equipment or situation.
