Screening at the door was quick. There was no wait at the time I was there (2pm on a Thursday). I turned in my paperwork for evaluation, and was done in less than 15 minutes. I rode a motorcycle so it was easy to find parking. The area is covered in trash, though. It was kinda sad.

If i could give customer service ZERO stars i would! I was calling to get info on how to do orientation and live scan(never done or heard of any of this before) and the lady that was "helping" me got upset and said "if you have questions regarding your daughters case i can help if not call the self help line" she proceeds to give me the exact same number i had just called so i asked her to please let me ask a question, she got more upset and said "well speak" so i asked her why she had to be so abrupt and rude. I just needed some help, which is what she is there for she got upset and hung the call up and now i have been calling back and am once again waiting to speak to someone! The fact that they get upset when they have to fulfill their job is actually insane! Train you're employees better or find new ones who aren't mad at the world for everything and anything at all!

We were in and out but unfortunately we were told that we couldn't get an answer in person for My provider. We had to call the helpline which hangs up on you constantly.

This place is a joke. Unfortunately the families that need the support need to go through this. Please, please PLEASE someone at IHSS needs to read this and fire Carla Tap, I was unlucky enough to have her as our case coordinator, she schedules an assessment November 4th, never came, let us waiting, reschedules to December 5th, said that would not come in the afternoon because there was too much traffic for her so she was ok with my son missing school because she did not want to be in traffic, I refused, never answered any of my call backs, anyway, a nightmare, unprofessional, no empathy, no anything. Her supervisor Samuel Oum also never responded to my calls. I finally managed to get a on hold of her today, late February almost FOUR months later, I ask her to transfer my case from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara where I moved in hope to find better, more professional people to my son, her answer? “I never assessed him, so you lave to call Santa Barbara and start a new case ALL OVER AGAIN.” I tried to tell her how unprofessional she was but couldn’t she hang up on me.The world of special needs is hard with this VERY unprofessional person, I reached a new low. I really don’t wish Carla as a coordinator to any parent, no even to my worst enemy. Please someone with empathy FIRE her so people don’t go through the nightmare that I went with her.

This place is disrespectful to the elderly. There's minimum 2 hours waiting time prior to answering the phone. Once paperwork is received, no calls to make contact or care to render the necessary services needed. Today, upon my entrance to IHSS, I was on a 2:16-minute hold once I made it to the IHSS Lobby someone finally picked up the phone at the time I was told by the worker in the lobby I couldn't be on the phone. Amazing the lack of service and the enforcement of Euless.
