Hi everyone,

I don't typically write poor reviews because fortunately I am not in a position to feel the need to. However, I wouldn't be transparent to other future/current customers if I kept my poor experience to myself. In February my homeowners insurance sent Garages R Us to fix two broken springs, and to align the garage. I reached out initially because my garage was making such a loud noise. On 2/4 Jussain with Garages R Us came to my residence to fix the issue. He replaced the springs, and alignment, etc. I asked him if I could turn the garage open and closed before he left and I asked him why the noise is ever louder now. He was confident and assured me that the noise would be gone in a couple days. My husband came home a couple hours later to pick up our special needs son and they both were unprepared for how loud this noise had gotten the day Jussain was her and shook my hand that he was confident that it was fixed. I even called him that day so my husband could get the assurance via phone from him that this distruptive noise would go away. It only got worse, and eventually the garage just stopped shutting all the way down. I called Garages R Us on 4/8/2024, 4/9/2024, and I was told by a woman that this has been a common mistake and that is why my homeowners company charged me for a different company to handle the issue which cost me $800 plus a $100 service charge with my homeowners insurance. So this company could fix his mistakes that he added to the current issue, and so that the new company could rip out the overside springs that was aggravating our motor, hence the smoke, and the noise and could install the proper ones as they did. My homeowners insurance company refunded my second $100 service charge because it was like sending a dentist to fix a garage with this company. I spoke with the owner yesterday via telephone and he told me Jussain could not come to our home to fix/address his mistakes he was booked and my home was in a hazardous condition. I paid this company $350 plus the $100 service charge that my homeowners company charged me (the $100 has already been refunded b/c they agree that this isn't ethically right or financially sound) I would never hire this company.

I professionally and calmly tried to resolve this with the owner but he showed no interest. Below is my garage and the invoice that I do believe should be refunded to me.

Happy 2024 and I can say I learned quite a bit.

A highly recommended company for anything pertaining to garage doors. Janet was pleasant and gave a positive impression of the company. Danny reassured me that I will be happy when his trained techs correct our issue. That became true! Hussein was our technician who came to repair our opener and did an excellent job. He knew exactly what to do among other tasks like pairing the remote to my car remote and assuring all of the other remotes work. Also, servicing our keyless entry, lubricating and checking hinges and rollers, and making adjustments until everything worked perfectly. The door is very quiet now with closing and opening. We are very pleased and will use Garages R Us in the future. Thanks to all of you!

Garages R Us Orlando staff Dany & Joe were very curteous & provided superior customer services. It only took less than 3 hours since the time I called them till the time that Joe finished the job. Dani sent over “Joe” who advised me about the issue with the garage door and explained to me in detail the best solution.. Joe was efficient and knowledgeable and immediately started working on the garage door and in no time, it was fixed and better than ever.
I appreciate their quick & timely response & excellent work performed. I would definitely recommend them to everybody.
