This is a great place to live! My sister is a home owner and the property manager twice has allowed my mother and her pets to stay with my sister ! If you give the management and staff respect they will respect you. This should be a model for mobile home communities !

I would like to express how much i appreciate the time an dedication that the management here at d an r village. They take great care of the park with keeping it clean, an safe. They take care of any issues right away that i have had since living here for over 7 years. I have never had an issue with how the park is managed. Karen the manager is someone I can talk to not just as a tenant but as a friend. She is always willing to work with you if you ever run into a hard time which a lot of places do not. She has always welcomed me with a big smile an always cheerful. I have no idea how she does it running this park with so many tenants. Thank you so much for doing such a great amazing job to Karen an the Staff 🙂

After living here for 5 years and moving due to purchasing a home D AND R village is a nice, quiet, and well kept neighborhood. Never had any issues with other tenants within the park. Maintenance was always helpful and drove by with a smile and a wave. The office staff was also very polite and professional always offering to help out anyway that they could. Would highly recommend if you’re in the market and looking to live in the Clifton park area.

I've moved 22 times in my life. This is the first home I've ever owned and I've lived here the longest, going on 16 years. There have been many changes to this park over the years, mostly positive, and the neighborhood is safe and quiet and well maintained. Lot rent is higher here than most parks and increases yearly. In light of that, it would be nice to have a private community center or pavilion for community or family gatherings for the residents to utilize and an updated, larger playground for the kids. (I vote for a pool!) One of the nice things about the Clifton Park area is having everything you need within a 5 mile radius such as restaurants, doctors, shopping centers, hiking trails, parks, etc. You can travel to the Adirondacks, the Catskills, Vermont, the Finger Lakes or even NYC to get away and the Northway is less than one mile west on Rt. 146. One of the downsides, however, development has grown substantially over the years so traffic can be horrible especially during rush hours! Trying to exit the park during those times can be very difficult and so far there are no plans for the town to add a traffic light to alleviate this issue. For the most part, I am content with my home and the neighbors I have gotten to know over the years.

D&R Village is a lovely manufactured home community. The residents maintain their homes and yards. The staff does a good job of maintaining the common areas. In the winter the roads are salted and well plowed. In general the area is peaceful, quiet and safe. So nice to have friendly neighbors!

This is the worst place you could ever purchase a mobile home. If you live here expect to be ruled with an iron fist. Company outside of your 2 allowed parking spaces will be harassed with street parking, aka company is rarely allowed. Despite owning your own home, I’d you have guests that the park doesn’t “approve” of they will threaten your lively hood and your home. Do not live here if you’re expecting to have freedoms as a homeowner because you will not.

D&R is not a place for growing families. If you are family oriented and have visitors often don’t bother living here. Visitors aren’t allowed and kids are not welcome to live happily in their yard. I wish i never moved in.

to whom ever reads this. I have been a resident here for 13 years now. I have fully enjoyed living here in a quiet and safe community. I have seen several managers, but karen has been here 9 years. iam a retired business man so therefore, I have seen her to exceptional and beyond improvements in here like no other one has. she is extremely professional in every aspect. and provides this community with every effort she has. improvements she has made in here is amazing. shes always there to listen and keeps a professional attitude to everyone one in here. managing a place well over two hundred homes im sure can be stressful but she continues to smile.i do appreciate living in the cleaness mobile home park in the area.maintenance as well keeps up . iam proud to say since I lived here to see the changes the entire staff has always been helpful. im well known in here and im happy to say I have the most beautiful neighbors anyone could ask for. so if anyone is ever lookin to live in a proud place pick here...……….
