I enrolled in beginner Greek 3 years ago when remote classes were made available. Completing the enrollment process online was slightly confusing as I was completely new to the process but the staff member that called to follow up was patient, friendly and most of all helpful. I felt very well taken care of.
My instructor Stefania is always positive and encouraging and our pace is so catered to my needs. Classes are both textbook heavy, filled with real life lessons and include rounds of practice that are invaluable. I have learned so much ... we navigate through the complexities of the language with no short cuts so we have a deep understanding. I especially enjoy learning the background to words that help put perspective into what has become an intuition for the Greek language - even with what still seems like a limited vocabulary. I am excited to use it with family abroad and have genuinely enjoyed sharing the experience with my classmates. If I had the time I would take on another language or brush up on my Spanish - the point is I am motivated and happy to be enrolled and learning at BHLI

I have a very heavy work schedule and a full life so I am grateful to have been allowed make up classes - and it is fun to have an occasional student visit my class as they make up a class too.

Very well organized and amazing language school. I originally started a few years ago taking Portuguese with a lovely teacher named Cristiane. Now recently started Spanish class. All classes are small so you feel like it is almost private but with the bonus that you can interact in your language of choice w classmates. I can see the owner takes a lot of pride in choosing wonderful teachers and front desk staff. Lots of good vibes and energy all around! Big bonus that parking is also available in the building for a small fee after validation.

You have to pay for the class, plus a $150 text book for each course. I asked for a refund for a class I had not started yet, when I learned the text book fee. Because I simply do not have the funds at this time for that. And due to other responsibilities that popped up, I will not have much time to study. I received a rude response from an employee named Claudia. I called the school 7 over the course 2 hours to their close time, with no response, and the voicemail was full. I do not live close to the school. I drove to the address listed on yelp to find no language institute in the office suite listed on yelp. The teacher said it’s a mailing address only now. But their school name was not on the office suite 800 either outside or inside. Being given a difficult time about the refund that I asked for multiples is a very big strike. And to be honest, it is much more flexible and more cost effective to sign up for a course on Pre-Ply. And you can learn the words you need to learn first, if you are working to increase your bilingual utility at work. The teacher on pre-ply was so flexible and I literally pay $20 for a private hour that she let me schedule at 6:30am in the morning. On the opposite end of the spectrum, The Beverly Hills bilingual school giving me a hard time about the refund, does not make me want to make me school here. I recommend pre-ply.

I have been studying italian for two years at the Beverly Hills institute. I feel very fortunate to learn with such a wonderful and passionate teacher like Patrick. It is the perfect environment to learn a language after work. Great location, absolutely lovely and helpful team, very accommodating and professional management. The prices are more than fair for the quality of the teaching and the prime location, I highly recommend the Beverly Hills Institute.

Under the new management the school became WAY NICER and more friendly than what it was.

I've been coming here for few years, studied 4 languages total so I had a lot of experiences at the school. All of my teachers were amazing, and I'm not just saying it to be nice. They are friendly and present the material in an easy understandable way. Classes are normally very small 3-6 people.

If you are interested in taking French go to professor Pascal!

I loved my teacher who taught Arabic but it had to be canceled due to less numbers of students. Took Russian but the teacher was difficult to understand and relied on us to learn more of the language on our own. I don't like that a classes can be easily canceled if only two students are in class

I've been taking classes at The Beverly Hills Lingual Institute for many years
and still love it!
I started out taking Korean which helped me communicate with the people in my
job at that time. I then moved on to studying Spanish, French and now Chinese.
It's mainly for fun but it is always a bonus to be able to communicate with
people in their native language.

The teachers are fantastic! They not only teach grammar, vocabulary, reading,
and writing but how to interact in real situations.

I've been taking classes with some of the same students for many years so it's
like getting together with friends. It's great to meet so many different people
that have a similar interest yet such vast backrounds.

I would recommend this to anyone looking to expand their knowledge and fun.

I love BHLI!!! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Great way to meet others while also learning another language. Teachers are outstanding—they only higher native speakers, which is great for when you’re learning a new language... highly recommend!! This is a hidden gem in the LA area (it is a great place to learn a foreign language in such a diverse city)!
