Dr. Wynn is the most compassionate and caring specialist I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He really takes the time to answer all your questions and listen to you. You will never feel rushed or like your just another number on a list. This was the major reason I picked him. Beyond knowledgeable and comforting. His staff is also delightful! You can truly tell that they are happy and love working there. For me there is no other neurologist I would ever visit but Dr. Wynn!

Less Anti Than Matter

I've searched for years for a neurologist that is competent and caring. Dr. Wynn is the one, trust me. I've seen many doctors that don't care at all about me as individual patient, but care more about selling me medication and telling me what to do. Thank goodness Dr. Wynn isn't like that, at all! He listens to my story and gets my symptoms, he understands my progress and my plans, he knows the research and medications out there and he totally caters the medical opportunities to my needs and definitely isnt pushy or short with me. I truly feel like I can trust his judgement and that he will be with me every step of the way on my MS journey. AND his nurses are so kind and knowledgeable.The office is comfortable and stress free, although there tends to be a little bit of a prolonged wait time issue. I am actually moving away from Chicago but I plan to keep returning semiannually or more just to keep this solid foundation that Dr. Wynn has offered with his practice. MS is tricky and unpredictable, and if you have a neurological condition you know how important it is to have a system you can rely on and trust your health to. I sincerely feel like I receive personalized and intelligent care from his team. That is all! ?

I read some of these reviews complaining about how "Wynn talks too much" and TOO MANY STORIES" and all I can say is these people need to calm down. Why deny yourself of Wynn's genius because of his eccentricities?
It took over a decade for me to see Wynn after seeing a speech he gave (I honestly had the worst insurance imaginable and even worse initiative so the blame is mine) and now, no matter my circumstances or if I move out of country I will continue to see this Dr until one of us dies or he retires.
He's that damn brilliant.
I'd give him 5 stars but no one reads those.

After getting a strong recommendation to take a friend to see Dr. Wynn, and waiting months for an appointment this is my first hand experience.

A very cursory history and review took place for 5-10 min. The majority of the hour, Dr. Wynn spent recalling other patient cases in horrific and graphic details. This had no bearing on the purpose of the visit. No constructive guidance was provided.

My summation:
The most acute demonstration of a self-involved and self-important person, let alone a physician I have ever observed or experienced.

If a case is not of sufficiently interesting nor in accord with his areas of specialty research, expect to be treated so disrespectfully and dismissively that you leave in a stupor wondering how that is happened from a trained professional.

We were initially impressed with Wynn’s recommendation to try Lemtrada. My wife has gotten steadily worse since then. Wynn is obsessed with stories and more stories and more stories. It gets old real quick.

His appts take way too long for a five minute exam and then 45 minutes of stories I’ve heard before. I dunno. His nurse is sweet so that’s good.
