Dr. Joseph Raviv, scarred me for life, he did surgery for a broken nose and now I have a big bump on my nose. When I asked him at my post up appointment he told me l should of went to a Plastic Surgeon. Dr. Raviv should of told me that before he did surgery on me. I am very disappointed with the outcome of his services.

Dr. Joseph Raviv was an excellent doctor and surgeon in my care. He and Dr. Ricky Wong removed a pituitary tumor from my brain. I was discharged in two days. If I need more care, I know I can trust and count on him.

I saw Dr. Raviv for a sinus infection. I did not initially have nor did he recommend surgery. Dr. Raviv was professional, friendly, and addressed my questions. I felt like I walked away better informed. I liked his approach of not just going with antibiotics (but not necessarily ruling it out if the treatment he prescribed does not achieve the desired results). He gave me a prescription treatment (not antibiotics) to try and suggested a follow up if the approach was not effective. It proved to be only temporarily effective. Ultimately, it appeared that surgery was the best approach. Dr. Raviv performed the surgery and the results were great. Treating sinus issues seems to be a challenge with varying outcomes depending on the person. My experience with Dr. Raviv was excellent. I would seek his services again. I am pleased.

Have been experiencing a little trouble breathing the past couple of months figured I'd see what all the fuss was about so I called up Dr raviv and scheduled an appointment. upon my visit I was put at ease by a friendly assistant who's well spoken and if I may say easy on the eyes she asked a few questions pertaining to my issue. when she was done the doctor arrived a few more questions were asked and he got right to work it's nothing he hadn't seen before and he knew just how to take care of it you see I have a polyp in my nasal cavity that's been obstructing my breathing a bit he assured me nothing to be concerned about and with the hands of a surgeon diffusing a bomb while holding wine glasses he's steadily went in and cut that thing right out no pain I kind of like that guy most doctors can be a little rough and in no time I'm breathing right again so thanks to Joseph raviv MD and Company I'm back on top. so I suggest if you're experiencing any of those symptoms or any other symptoms in that area don't hesitate to schedule the guy knows what he's doing

About five years ago, Dr. Raviv did an extremely invasive procedure on me where he made a new opening in my cheek bone into my sinus cavity. He told me it was necessary. I’ve had nothing but misery since and have worse sinus infections than prior. It has also affected my Csf pressure. When I went back to him with my post-op issues he basically told me there was nothing he could do and washed his hands of me. Do NOT let this doctor operate on you.

I had sinus surgery with Dr Raviv in June of 2021. He tested me prior to the surgery for allergies and tried everything he could to avoid surgery, ultimately surgery was chosen. It all went well and I’ve been breathing great ever since.
My only suggestion to those looking to fix sinus congestion issues is your diet and lifestyle. When I started a KETO regime in 2019 that seemed to initiate an inflammatory response in my kungs and sinuses. Since February of 2022 I have switched my diet to a vegetarian one and it has really helped .

Let me begin by saying i would not recommend that he treat you for any sinus or nasal related issues. I was having sinus issues related to a previous surgery of septoplasty. At time I did not know what the issue was, hence was referred to Dr. Raviv. He saw me once and recommended endoscopic sinus surgery, and he assured me I needed it based on my scans and that I would likely feel better. Fast forward months after the procedure I felt worse on top of the severe congestion I had already had before, it had turned into a chronic condition. With every follow up appointment he said my sinuses looked “clear” and everything looked fine. I went back and forth to see him to the point where he told me I have Empty Nose Syndrome and it was currently Incurable. Fast forward years later and 4 Ent opinions on what is going on, endoscopic sinus surgery was not necessary and the issue was a collapsed nasal valve that has caused me breathing problems. I sympathize with other reviewers, going to this doctor was a mistake and I hope I will soon get the treatment I need to get better.
