I cannot say enough good things about Dr Dekeratry. He is by far one of the best doctors I have ever had in my lifetime. I am still under his treatment and i improving well. I went into the hospital barely being able to breathe or even move, with severe pneumonia and an added bacterial infection. I had been sick for 10 days at this point. Dr D immediately admitted me to the ICU. I spent 7 days in ICU and an additional 3-4 regular hospitalization. During that time, Dr D visited with me every single day to check my progress, and he actually sat down and spent however much time was needed to actually listen to my questions /concerns and to explain what his treatment approach was and why. I am the type of person who always asks a million questions bc I want to understand the why of things, and with Dr D, I always felt satisfied that all my qts were answered , and at no time did I ever get that feeling of being dismissed or not listened to that is so common with doctors nowadays. Dr D's treatment has been very thorough, he did many tests and researched my case and i have improved enormously. I have no doubt that under someone else's care, I would have been sent home way to soon, with inadecuate monitoring of my progress, no opportunity for daily adjustments in treatment and any progress would have much slower and drawn out. Aside from being a great doctor, Dr D is one of the most caring doctors I've encountered. (I only have memory of one other such doctor when I was a child growing up in Europe.) When I shuffled into the ER , I was miserable, i could barely breathe, I was stressed, I was scared of what might happen (two of my siblings died of Covid), I was alone. He held my hand, listened to me through my sobs, and reassured me that he would do everything possible to make me better. And he has! Thank you Dr D!

TO THE DR THAT POSTED, HE DID IT BECAUSE YOU ARE ALSO A DOCTOR. GOH.

THE MOMENT DR D STARTS WHISPERING TO YOU, AMA YOUR LOVED ONE AND GO TO A DIFFERENT HOSPITAL. FIGHT LIKE HELL. SHAME ON ST DAVIDS GEORGETOWN FOR HAVING A HUSBAND AND WIFE AS THE TEAM ON AN ICU FLOOR. WHO DO YOU TALK TO IN COMPLAINT OF THE OTHER? If nothing else. Hear this. This is FACT. NOT emotions, ELEVEN DAYS they did not respond to us, avoided us, and when my dad's lung collapsed and I asked Fields about it, she acted dumber than a box of rocks.
Walked all over me when trying to advocate for my father. His wife (Dr fields) at St. David's yelled at my sister that my dad would DIE... No response from an ICU doctor for 11 days dispite our efforts. Him being the primary doctor, he should have been in steady contact. 11 days? With 0 contact from anyone..No, That is intentional. Finally, his wife (Dr. Fields)spoke with me after my dad's lung collapsed. It was not pleasant, it seemed forced. They had made their choices for my father. Even refusing to put him on retro Medicare. Fun fact, a Dr. can't use expiramental treatments if the patient is on Medicare. It's not a billable procedure.
He died 5 days later.
Let's touch on the travel nurses. The weird dirty blankets he had in his room before contracting a hospital borne pneumonia.

Happy for the people saved. The rest of us, and there are plenty of us, will just always wonder why our loved ones were who he toyed with. 《《 I actually know this answer, we refused to acknowledge him as a God and advocated and asked. Nothing makes this man more outraged than questioning him. Be wary of that.

Dr. Cooper in the ER is no better.

Went ahead and left some reviews in a photo by other people. People should know.

Absolutely the worst doctor. There's 1 star because I couldn't post this otherwise. Do not see Dekeratry. Run in the other direction if he is assigned your doctor. I wish I had demanded that my dad be moved to a different hospital. On the heels of David's review I would like to say that Dekeratry does not care. And David, I am sorry for your loss. Our family lost my dad who was in good physical and mental health to the hands of Dekeratry and his wife (Dr. Fields) at St. David's in Georgetown. The whispers were weird and the 11 DAYS with NO contact from any doctor at St. David's while my dad lay in ICU were just unacceptable, but they did it anyway. My sister or myself would visit everyday and still no one would come talk to us. You cannot convince me that in the height of covid (this was Sep-Oct 2021) my dad wasn't a guinea pig for Dekeratry. One day my dad was sitting up and eating dinner at the hospital and the next day Dekeratry's wife (Dr. Fields) and her nurses were yelling at me that if they didn't intubate "He will die!" Dekeratry and his wife and St. David's in Georgetown should be investigated.

What a phenomenal Physician! If all Dr.'s were like Dr. Dekeratry the world would be a better place. I found Dr. Dekeratry through my company's 2nd opinion service and after my experience with him I know why they suggested him. I could not be happier with my interactions with him and his office and my outcomes. He is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, kind, and capable! If he is your Dr., rest assured..... you are in the best hands!

Mr. Dominic Dekeratry, the whisperer. It was so intriguing when he would whisper and draw pictures about what he was doing... Until,....I or my wife asked him about his methods. When asked about his methods he became loud and rude. He was very upset about an incident that happened the night before when my daughter was having a hard time breathing, after a procedure HE performed.
The next morning he showed up to work with quite an attitude. It was the fastest discharge in my experience of discharges ever. My daughter died less than 48 hours later.
She stopped breathing and her heart stopped in the middle of the night.
She was 22.
If you really want to know Dominic, question his methods or ask for a second opinion. You'll see the man for what he really is. My daughter would be alive today if this man would have done his job.

I was very, very sick in August and after multiple ER visits where I was just sent home with no real treatment or options, I was declining quickly. I was referred to dr. Dekeratry by a woman I met online that he had helped and he met me at the ER within two hours and admitted me into the hospital. He held my hand and promised me he would take care of me and get me better. I spent a week there and he gave me every available treatment that was available to treat my illness and was able to go home and finish with my recovery. I probably would not have made it without his help and treatment plan. I'm so grateful ?

My husband has been a quadriplegic for 11 years and almost died from severe pneumonia. Dr. Dekeratry saved him. He is soft spoken, very patient and compassionate. One of the very few highly competent physicians we have met and known.
