Tough Times at the Parking Lot

It was a fun night had by all of us until we made the call to the parking attendant. "This call will be recorded," said the automated voice. None of us wanted to be making this call. We'd rather be thinking about the pool game we just lost to some very worthy opponents. We'd rather be thinking about our friend's 30th birthday we were out celebrating. We'd rather be anywhere else than trapped on the wrong side of the arm of this parking garage.

The thing about parking garages is — you either end up on the right side or the wrong side of the arm. And if you park your car at 808 South Olive Street past 11:59 p.m. on any given weekend night (including Fridays), you are on the wrong side of the arm.

Don't believe the false advertising — you are not just going to pay $15 if you park at 808 South Olive Street past 11:59 p.m. on any given weekend night (including Fridays). You may pay $30, you my $45, you may even pay $60. Who knows? There are no rules, only fine print. And the thing about fine print is...you only ever see it when you're on the wrong side of the arm.

Don't make the same mistake we made. If you're going to be out in DTLA past 11:59 p.m. on any given weekend night (including Fridays), make sure they won't charge you $45 or $60 or however much more while you're still on the right side of the arm. Because once you're on the wrong side of the arm, they make the rules. And you have to pay. And there's nothing you can do about it.

It's their policy.

One of my go to covered parking spots whenever I have a concert nearby. I pay ahead so I've never had to actually use their payment machines. The parking spots are a bit tight so you may feel like you're going to hit the car next to you if you drive a wide car.

I was also disappointed to find out I had been charged with a surprise $45 overnight fee. Staff claimed it is posted, I'm not sure where but it seems deceptive to exclude it from the rest of the posted rates and claim a maximum of $15.

Parked car for 12 hours and get charged $45 overnight fee when signs only say $15 max. Nowhere is this posted! I called to complain and the lady’s states it’s definitely posted, it’s not! Read the reviews you guys are scamming! Do not park here!

Car break ins are happening here all the time now! Warning! there is never security to make sure that all the cars are safe 🙁 There have been multiple car break ins every month

The sign says there’s a $15 daily max, but there’s also a surprise $45 overnight fee that we had to pay even though we were parked there less than 12 hours. Dishonest and a total ripoff, won’t park here again.

Worst parking ever, one of the two elevators been out of service for the last three years, and the other one breaks down every other week, we have to take the stairs all the way to 8th floor.
Employees very careless.

Both elevators doesn't work for a week now.
They are good only in raising monthly rates.

Worst employees ever, just like Joe's auto park, nobody cares.

One elevator still out of order (never worked for the last 3-4 years). and the other, not working, I had to take the stairs to the 8th floor.
Employees don't care, asked for help, unfortunately I got same answer "I'm sorry".
Paying $180 per month for a parking without elevator.
This is a joke.
